Mason's First Letter

We received this on the 20th from Mason. I've transcribed it exactly as written, because the scanner won't work.

Hello Family,
So everything has been good the first two days. My companions name is Elder Engemenn. He's from Lindon and he's super cool. I really like my zone. All of the guys are way nice. Four are going to Columbia and leaving in 3 weeks and the rest are going to my mission or Tampico Mexico. The days are super long and really tiring. I almost miss roofing. But classes are pretty good but tonight we have to teach our first lesson in Spanish to a guy named Victor. Its on the plan of salvation and it has to be like half an hour so I have no idea what we're going to do. But I'm sure everything will work out and go well. I've also seen like fourty people I know from high school or college, it's been really weird. But things are going well and the food is pretty good except the mashed potatoes which make me feel like there's an alien inside me. But other than that It's a party, except it's like a party that you'd never want to go to. But I'll be able to email next week but they'll probably be short because I only have half an hour on the computer.
     So we just finished up for the day. The lesson with Victor went really well. I feel like my Spanish was good and he complimented it. But we only introduced ourselves and tomorrow morning we give our first lesson so it's out of the frying pan and into the fire. But It'll be fine. Today we also had gym so I played volleyball and destroyed kids in four square. Sometimes I wonder why I'm so good at four square. But I need to va a mi cama. Hopefully the Boys wont be disgusted with my Spanish.
