Christmas Partay At Nude's House

This year, Spencer hosted the first ever family Christmas party that was not held in the home of our childhood. That is right. A new tradition is born! The treats were delish, the white elephant anything but boring, and the dance floor was hoppin (with Mason waltzing from room to room with whomever he could convince to be his partner). Here is a quick recap in photo form...

Angela was super excited for wolfberries.

Marshmallow Man

yay! mimi is on this!!! well, looks like since mimi and i started today, that this thing has finally become official. i call dibs on bying mimi her christmas beto's burrito. well, i just was trying to figure a way to teach this blog stuff to mom. that will be a hard one. (think of micheal scott)

anyway, peace!

Mimi's list

ah, God bless the internet. Taking away our human interactions one by one...

so here are some ideas for me for Christmas prezzies

I would love some nude fishnets, esp fun ones with seams in the back. I wear stockings every day and I only have one pair of nude. Size large. Thigh highs are fine too.

Other pretty stockings but nothing too garish. I got some great ones from the dollar store last year that were a pretty burgundy color. I also have my eye on some dark green ones or rusty orange ones from H&M. Thick ones are nice. Like those woolly sweater tights. Brown or colored. I have plenty of black and grey. Also the nylon ones that are solid not sheer.

Cheap copies of Fitzgerald books - Love of the Last Tycoon or The Beautiful and Damned or Tales of the Jazz Age. I already have most of his other works.

Also maybe The Complete Sherlock Holmes. They have it for like $7 at Barnes and Noble in the classics section. Barnes and Noble gift card would be great too!

Starbucks gift card - yummy!

dollar store mascara with the mirror on the side

nice razors

H&M gift card

Old Navy gift card

Payless gift card

that Cover Girl eyeshadow that Rachel has. You can get it at Dan's. I think the color is "Tapestry." Ask Rach. She has the exact same one. Or Laura. I love it and I dropped it and it crumbled into a million pieces.

A burrito from Betos.

I would love to own It's a Wonderful Life on DVD, but I don't have a TV or a DVD player or a laptop to play it on, so maybe hold off for this year!

nice shiny lip gloss. My Co Bigelow kind is almost gone and I loooooved it! I would love some of that or similar.

Hmmmmm... that's all I can think of for now.. Thanks and love you!!

Mimi
HA !! i knew i wasnt that dum. (hehe) well, i figured why, bc i wasnt a contributor to our family blog. i was a blog member, but i could only make coments (see the comment i put unders shawna's blog. oops. well, i am awesome now
um, i have been looking for 10 minutes on how to post crap on this! i thought i was somewhat computer savy. i have posted on blogs. i swear, right? before my mission, fetus set a blog up that we all participated in.

ok, one thing, i dont know who's who bc the use of unknown nicknames. so sign all of your blogs after or something with your real name!

sorry its taken me so long to get involved here. anyway, spencer texted me (i think secretly he has me for christmas and needs me to put my list up) here goes.

(these are all normal things, no cars or whatever. im pretty content ever since i stole the butt face towel)

* Beard trimmer (as seen in walgreens or rite aid)

* hmmm. a t-shirt from hollister, court likes me in those shirts. im a medium. or a gift card from them.

*also, if it is spencer, (or even if its not) I WANT MY GREEN EXTENSION CHORD!!! ha, i totally forgot about that. i even said to myself at spence's party that i needed to remind him!

well, thats all i can think of. MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

Alan, Jenny, and Jared's Wish List

Here is our list. These are just ideas, and we don't really care whether we get any of this. :)
  • “Babysitting coupons” that we can use when Jenny and I want a night on the town.
  • Soundtrack from the movie Elf
  • A book called North and South by Elizabeth Gaskell—for Jenny
  • A John Steinbeck novel for Alan (in paperback so it’s cheap). Here are some we don’t own already: Cannery row, East of Eden, Moon is down, The Pastures of heaven
  • Cookbook called 101 Things to do with a Cake Mix
  • Café Rio gift card. Any restaurant gift card for that matter. (Olive Garden, PF Chang’s, and Chili’s are all good options.)
  • The original How the Grinch Stole Christmas movie. NOT the one with Jim Carey!
  • Fun books for Jared. Here are some specific ideas: The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle, Brown Bear Brown Bear What do you See?, Anything by Doctor Seuss(we already own One Fish, Two Fish), Barnyard Dance by Sandra Boynton
  • Toys for Jared. He’s sort of getting sick of inanimate objects that he can’t do anything with. But we’ve found that he likes things that move or that have sounds or little things that he has to do. Here are some ideas:
  1. Toy trucks, cars, trains, etc. You can get these at the Dollar Tree. Yay for the Dollar Tree! It seems like they’re fairly cheap. I want to say it was a dollar or so.
  2. Giant Legos
  3. One of those little boxes that has holes of different shapes and little plastic blocks of each shape that fit in the holes. You know the kind. It’s called a shape sorter.
  4. One of those things that makes different farm animal sounds. It’s round and has a dial that you set to one of the animals and then you pull a lever to make that sound.
ok so here are a few suggestions on what to get laura for Christmas!

Tweezermen tweezers

Digital Camera :)

White Strips

Itunes gift cards

Clothes

FOOD (you know what i like)

any gift cards

apple earphones (mine are falling apart!)

Bobblini's Wish List

Hey yall! these are some suggestions.

-Toe socks would rock! if you don't know what they are, they are socks that spread out each to so you can see all of them. Who knew?

-I would also love the game, Curses. We could all play it on Christmas morning!

-A Venus Three Bladed Razor. I hate two bladed ones, they don't do as good of a job as I'd like

-A puppy (ha ha ha) LOL!

-My two front teeth (tee hee hee)

-My ears peirced ( I know it won't happen but this is also a b-day wish for I will turn the big #12 and that is when I am able to get my ears peirced!)

-MP3 player amplifier

-Coupons (to do stuff for me such as one free back rub)

-CANDY!!!

-David Archuletta's new album!!

-Kung Fu Panda! (talk to mom to make sure someone is not already getting it for someone else)

Lanny's Christmas Wish Listy

ok so here are som suggestions- just to get an idea
i love dvds ie: mean girls, three fugitives, and some others i cant remember at the moment.
i am in need of a new pogo stick seeing as how i have out grown my old one.
i love crunch and munch (toffee peanut popcorn stuff) comes in a box.
eucerin lotion- i blow thru that stuff like its goin out of style. must be this dry climate
i too would like a laptop- but not just any- i would like a macbook. (i'll keep dreaming)
i love beanies, scarves and gloves.
i lost my mysize barbie- so a new one would be awesome.
my giga pets batteries ran out-so that would be cool too
i hav a list on the fridge at dads of all the clothing i would like- but it includes capsleeve shirts from downeast basics size medium colors- 3 white, 1 black and 1 brown. and 3/4 length shirts from there as well- size medium- colors-dark gray, white and brown.
there is also a hooded vest from vanity with fur on the hood- i want green or brown. its super cute- size small.
and thats about it. hahaha i love that i have the longest list. but remember they are just simply suggestions- to help you get an idea :)

Rachel's Wish List

  • Socks
  • Undershirts
  • A good rubber spatula
  • Robin Hood (the cartoon)
  • A big waterbottle
  • Gloves
  • White strips
  • Face wash
  • Nummy sprays

Sanood's Christmas List

Alright- So first off i think this whole blog thing is a great idea, and second, I am already expecting to get none of this stuff, but you guys wanted to know:) I'll come up with some other stuff.
  1. New car stereo- cheaper the better
  2. Ihome
  3. Snow pants
  4. Itunes gift card
  5. Venus razor cartridges
  6. Movies
    • August Rush
    • Count of Monte Cristo
    • Anastasia on DVD
    • Iron man
    • Transformers
    • Dick and Jane
    • 10 things i hate about you
    • Anything Awesome:)
  7. Tweezermans
  8. Crest White Strips:)
I love love love you all and I'm very excited to be coming home for Christmas! Loves and kisses, sanood

Panzuska's Christmas List!

  1. A pony
  2. Ballet slippers
  3. Temple slippers size 11. Mine are turning yellow. It's kind of gross. Plus, they are man ones because they were fresh out of 11's when I got my pair so I had to resort to the men's section. Sad business. I like the ones with the little bow on top and the more durable sole. We must have soles that can endure the treading of Amanda feet.
  4. I really need new socks. Just ask Alana. Pretty much all I have are clown socks. They belong at a circus but I wear them on my little tootsies. Well, not so little as previously mentioned... Anyway, I like athletic socks with some spandex in them, then they fit quite snugly and won't look like elephant knees when I put them on. I like that. Or, I also like conservative, oh so conservative, "cute" socks. But please, no more outrageous clown socks to add to the land of misfit clown socks that is my second drawer.
  5. Something disappeared, oh so silently and mysteriously, while I was a wee little missionary (well not so little as afore mentioned). It was a dear cd of mine. It's name, you ask? Well I will tell you: Doseage (Collective Soul). You see it has been so long since I have seen my BFF that I don't even know how to spell his name. But that would just be a bonus and is nonessential.
Well, I think that is about it. The first two are, you know, like from movies and stuff and I don't really want them. And the rest? Well the rest would be great! But I can live without them too. I just need a lot of love this Christmas. And I hope you know how much I love all of you too! Because I really, really do. Peace on earth, good will toward men!

Opening Blog

Hey Everyone-
Since we live in a day of technology, and most of us seem to be able to communicate and stay on top of family events and happenings via the Internet and email, I thought it was time we have a John Stout Family blog where we can post anything we want the family to see, hear, read or know about.....like events, important happenings, Christmas and birthday wishlists, etc. Since I just signed up for this during Christmas time, I thought it might be a good way for everyone to post their lists so that other people can have an idea of what to get people...a main center point that everyone can access. I know that makes Christmas and birthdays seem so materialistic!!! My intentions are to not take the thoughtfulness and actual meanings away from any important events and holidays, but only to create another useful CENTRALIZED tool for our family to communicate with each other, in addition to our own personal emails.....I hope this helps! Lets give it a try! Make sure to SIGN YOUR NAME at the end of each thing you post so we all know who is posting. LOVE YOU ALL!!!--- SPENCER
